Why Spiritually Integrated Arts Was Founded

Spiritually Integrated Arts was founded in response to a growing recognition that many people long for spiritual understanding that is not only inspiring, but livable.

For generations, spiritual communities have offered insight and inspiration. Yet many seekers have struggled to bridge the gap between spiritual ideas and everyday life — in relationships, work, creativity, and leadership.

SIA was created to address that gap.

Its founding vision was simple but ambitious: to cultivate a space where spirituality could be studied with depth, practiced with integrity, and expressed creatively in ways that support both personal transformation and collective growth.

Rather than centering belief alone, SIA centers integration — the process by which spiritual awareness becomes embodied in action, culture, and community life.

Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Raymont L. Anderson, SIA continues to develop as a learning-centered institute dedicated to:

• spiritual formation and education

• creative expression as a pathway to insight

• ethical leadership and service

• multicultural and inclusive approaches to wisdom traditions

SIA exists not merely to teach spirituality, but to help people live it.
